| The Western States Regional Sheep Dog Finals features the top fifty dogs from the eight western states which comprise USBCHA District One, all of whom qualified to run by their performances in sanctioned trials from July 1, 2007 through July 31, 2008.
The 2008 Western States Regional Sheep Dog Championship will be conducted on the grounds of Wildhorse Resort and Casino on the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation five miles east of Pendleton, Oregon, right off of I-84.
October 3, 4, and 5, 2008. Friday and Saturday will be preliminary rounds, and on Sunday the best, most consistent handler-dog teams that week will advance to the double-lift Final on Sunday.
Judge is Scott Glen of Alberta. Scott won first and second place in the 2004 North America Championship and was reserve champion in 2001.
The 2008 WSRSC is a qualifier for the 2009 Soldier Hollow Classic SDT!
